How to Start
Contact us today to find out how your church can be a part of this exciting and innovation outreach program. Together, with the impact of God's love, we can be a positive influence and enrich the lives of both babies and parents...meeting practical necessity with a spiritual purpose.
One by One Ministries offers participating churches from all denominations the chance to give new and expectant parents within their community the tools they need to build a strong family.
One by One also offers to the participating churches and their volunteers, continuing education opportunities through our training, website and newsletter.

STEPS to START
- Church leaders review the One by One program and decide if the church is able to develop a One by; One Ministries at this time by seriously considering the following:
- Does the church have access to a source for expectant moms such as a church sponsored or nearly pregnancy care center, relationship with a local OB/GYN Clinic, or, perhaps a neighborhood community center?
- Is the church able, at this time, to make a commitment to reach out and minister to families to include: paying the initial start up support, selecting a two to three member team to guide the development of One by one; and providing Bible study, fellowship, educational, and discipleship opportunities for the families served through the church's One by One ministry?
- Once these questions are answered and the church approves having One by One as one of its ministries, the church signs the One by One Church Agreement.
- Church leaders select the two-three member One by One Church Team. This team begins meeting regularly as they recruit, interview, and approve the church's onsite One by One Coordinator.
- Once the Coordinator is selected and approved by the church, One by One Ministries trains her to develop the program within the church.
- After being trained, the Coordinator will work with the church's One by One Team to:
- Educate the church family about the ministry.
- Connect One by One to the church's prayer ministry.
- Establish a budget for the ministry.
- Determine the time line for publicity of the ministry, recruitment of the mentors and prayer partners; training of mentors; and, recruitment of the participants.
- Establish the link with the source of the participants
- Begin actually recruiting and processing volunteer mentors and prayer partners, and potential expectant and new moms/'participants.
- Coordinator arranges mentor training with the One by One Administrative Office.
- Coordinator begins the matching process between trained mentors and the recruited expectant or new moms and the One by One ministry begins.
