Our Ministry

One by One Ministries provides new and expectant parents the tools to build a strong foundation to ultimately become strong families. In our distinctive outreach program, mentors and parents work together on an interactive baby book and child rearing education program.

By using the One by One program and curriculum, churches and their volunteers are equipped to: educate families about the growth and development of their babies; improve the parenting skills of this generation to impact the next generation; prevent child abuse; and, reach these new parents for Christ. One by One fights child abuse and bad parenting from the very beginning: the most important stage.

One by One Ministries hopes, through the impact of God's love and grace, to influence an entire generation by improving the quality of life for babies and their parents. This is the basis of why we here...this is our mission.

One by One trains volunteers from local churches to minister to families through its exciting and innovative outreach program to mentor new and expectant mothers. Each mom enrolled in One by One is assigned a mentor who meets with her for about an hour each month during her pregnancy and during the first year of the baby's life. Together, the mother and the mentor work on an interactive baby book.

By using the unique One by One program and curriculum, participating churches and their volunteers are given the tools to teach parents about the growth and development of their babies. In this way, the parenting skills of this generation are improved and impact the next generation, preventing child abuse and bringing new families closer to Christ.

One by One Ministries helps churches develop a resource and referral plan through community support systems, agencies, and organizations. One by One Ministries provides encouragement and help to the participating churches and volunteers through specialized training, continuing education opportunities, our web resources, and our monthly newsletters.

One by One Ministries is funded through private donations, grants and the start-up and curriculum support paid by participating churches.

One by One Ministries believes that if children grow up thinking they are part of something bigger and greater than themselves, the possibilities are endless. Every baby deserves the opportunity become everything God wants him or her to be. Impacting families and enhancing the quality of life for babies...for the sake of a child.
