At One by One, our focus is on training and equipping volunteer mentors to provide friendship, support, and parenting education to pregnant and new moms looking for support to help them learn to parent well.

Many of our moms need additional assistance, so we connect moms with many of the agencies that we partner with in our communities that specialize in helping people with specific needs. We regularly partner with agencies to assist with:

• child care

• clothing

• counseling

• education

• food

• grief support

• health services

• housing

• job training

• rent/electric assistance

• transportation

just to name a few.

We work to connect our moms with local churches to provide them with additional support and Christian guidance, especially as they end their time in our program.

We also accept referrals from other agencies in our communities when agencies are serving moms who could benefit from a One by One mentor. One by One mentors cannot provide financial assistance, babysitting, or transportation for OBO moms.
