Mother’s Day Blessing Day
One by One is excited to host our annual Mother’s Day Blessing Day for active One by One moms in the Memphis, TN, area* on Tuesday, May 7.
Moms and mentors can stop by Kirby Woods Baptist Church (6325 Poplar Ave., Memphis) between 9 am and 5 pm to pick up a gift from One by One, flowers donated by Bellevue Baptist Church, and a devotional donated by Love Worth Finding. Moms can also select gently used baby clothes and items from our Mentor Closet.
Mentors may pick up items for moms who cannot attend the event.
Please park behind Kirby Woods Baptist Church in the lot that backs up to Poplar Pike, and enter through the doors under the awning.

Mid-South Volunteer Gathering
We’re excited for our annual Volunteer Gathering on March 23 at Germantown Baptist Church. We can’t wait to encourage to encourage and equip you, share ministry updates, and enjoy food and fellowship. Nationally certified counselor Shelley Spence will present on caregiver burnout and compassion fatigue. The event is free, but please RSVP here by March 20. San Antonio Volunteer Gathering
We’re excited to welcome all current volunteers and anyone else interested in volunteering to our Volunteer Gathering on February 29 at Parkhills Baptist Church. We’ll have a light dinner as we share ministry updates and encouragement. Jamie Gutierrez from AWC will share how her organization approaches ministry to women. Be sure to check out pictures below!
One by One en Espanol
Mom Blessing Day
Thank you to our volunteers and donors who made our first in-person One by One en Espanol Mom Blessing Day in Dallas such a success! We were able to bless all of our enrolled moms with a $50 Walmart gift card, One by One t-shirt, gift sets, and gifts for mom and baby. Moms were also able to select a brand new toy for each of their children; volunteers then wrapped the toys so moms could put them under their trees at home. Everyone also enjoyed some wonderful tamales! We are thankful to the Dallas Baptist Association for allowing us to host our event in their building. Be sure to check out pictures below!
San Antonio Mom Blessing Day
Thank you to our volunteers and donors who made our first in-person San Antonio Mom Blessing Day such a success! Memphis Mom Blessing Day
Thank you to our volunteers and donors who helped make our Memphis Mom Blessing Day such a success! We were able to bless all of our enrolled moms with a $50 Walmart gift card, One by One t-shirt, gift sets, books, toys, baby clothes, and baby equipment. We were happy to partner with Mid-South Toys for Tots this year; Toys for Tots provided toys for almost 100 One by One kids whose moms requested toys. 2023 Claim the Future Benefit
What an event! Thank you to everyone who attended our 2023 Claim the Future - The Impact of One benefit on September 14! You were amazing, and we hope you had a wonderful night. Dr. Tim Jackson summed up our theme perfectly when he reminded us that each one of us has the ability to see a need and then take action - and we are so thankful for everyone who took action to help moms in need by donating, committing to pray, or signing up to volunteer. San Antonio Dinner Party
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our second annual Dinner Party! It was an amazing night, and we were so happy to have so many of you and so many of our OBO moms there. Stephanie Newton shared beautifully about the significance of motherhood and reminded us that we all benefit from having mentors in our lives. 2023 Mother’s Day Blessing Day
We had a great turnout from local moms at our annual Mother’s Day Blessing Day at Kirby Woods Baptist Church in Memphis on May 11. Currently enrolled moms stopped by to pick up gently used baby items and clothing, flowers, and a special gift including a devotional, One by One wristlet, and a coupon from Nothing Bundt Cakes! MidSouth Volunteer Event
You’re invited to join us for food, fellowship, encouragement, and ministry updates our annual Volunteer Gathering. This year’s event will be 9:00-11:30 am, Saturday, April 15, at Harvest Church in Germantown, TN (3645 Forest Hill Irene Rd.) We’ll meet upstairs in room 203. We will serve a light breakfast, and 3 lucky volunteers will win door prizes!

Dallas Volunteers!
You are invited to join us for dinner, fellowship, and ministry updates. Two dates/locations have been planned, both beginning at 6:00pm. The Monday night dinner will be in the Arlington area, and the Tuesday night dinner will be at First Baptist Garland. Mother’s Day
One by One hosted Memphis moms at our Mother’s Day event where they picked up baby clothes and items and received a small gift and flowers. We mailed a gift to all o our community moms.

Volunteer Gathering
One by One was excited to host an in-person Volunteer Gathering once again! We shared updates to community resources, solicited feedback for our curriculum updates, and enjoyed a great time of food and fellowship.
2021 Mom Blessing Day
One by One hosted it’s second annual Mom Blessing Day where Memphis area moms received Walmart gift cards, baby clothes and items from our Mentor Closet, and several Christmas goodies. We mailed cards and gifts to community moms.
2022
Mentor Closet Move Day
Kirby Woods Baptist Church has graciously allowed One by One to use a large room in their building for a Mentor Closet. Thanks to MANY volunteers, we moved and organized all of our baby donations into this new space. We have baby clothes and items including bouncy seats, strollers, car seats, cribs, swings, pack-and-plays, books, toys, and more for our moms all stored here.
