Why the need?
Dallas was a part of One by One’s original pilot program from 1995-2004. We began to focus on growing our community in Dallas in 2011 and in 2021 hired a full-time Ministry Director for the Dallas / Ft. Worth region.
Texas Statistics:
54% of all pregnancies are unplanned.
42% of births are to single moms.
42% of children in poverty live in single-mother households.
Texas has one of the highest teen birth rates in the country.
About 20% of teen moms have more than one child. Many of these moms are single and without skills to parent well.

Elizabeth joined One by One in 2022. She previously served in various church ministries including women and children’s ministry, church planting, and leadership training for those launching and establishing church ministries.
